Three days. That's what it takes — hands moving steadily over wire, colour by colour, loop by loop — for one of our artisans in Thanjavur to finish a single basket bag. No machine could replicate the tension in each weave, the decisions made in real time about where one colour ends and another begins. It is slow work, deliberate work, and it shows in the finished object.

We spent a long time thinking about what Malli's second drop should be. The calendar felt like an introduction to India's symbols, its festivals, its rhythm through the year. The bags are something you carry that story in.

Woven from 100% recycled plastic wire, they are waterproof, lightweight, and UV-resistant — built for real life, not a shelf. Seven colourways, from deep checked browns to electric neon, each one loud in its own way. And tucked into every bag, a Ganesh motif keychain engraved with "Malli" in English and Tamil.

Stock is limited — each bag is made to order in small batches, and once they're gone, they're gone.
