The Story Behind Malli

Dear Friend,

Malli was born from a journey, one that was deeply personal. When we traveled to Thanjavur for our wedding, we weren’t looking for inspiration. But somewhere between temple towers, the clink of steel tumblers filled with hot filter coffee, and the hum of artisans at work, something stayed with us.

The objects around us weren’t just beautiful, they had purpose, history, and meaning. A brass lamp lit at dusk, a stainless steel plate passed down through generations, fabrics woven with techniques perfected over centuries. These weren’t just things; they were stories. And we wanted to tell them.

That's how Malli came to life. Thoughtfully designed, crafted with care, and made to be lived with - our pieces honour tradition while fitting into modern life.
